Kick off Spirit Week by participating in Rainbow Day. Choose a color from the sign-up sheet in the break room and dress head to toe in that color. Let's complete the rainbow together and create a vibrant atmosphere that reflects the diversity and inclusivity of the LGBTQ+ community.
2. Crazy Hair Day (June 28th) - 👩🏻🎤
Unleash your inner hair artist on Crazy Hair Day. Experiment with bold and unconventional hairstyles to create a wild and unique look. Think bright colors, extravagant updos, or maybe even some wacky hair accessories. This is your chance to let your hair down and have some fun!
3. Gender Expression Day (June 29th) - 💁♂️💁♀️💁
On Gender Expression Day, we invite you to challenge traditional norms and dress as the opposite gender. Embrace your alter ego and bring some "She's the Man" realness to the salon. This day celebrates individuality and highlights the importance of embracing and accepting diverse gender identities.
4. Gay Pajama Day (June 30th) - 🛌🏳️🌈
Who doesn't love a cozy day in pajamas? On Gay Pajama Day, come dressed in your most fabulous and comfortable sleepwear, embracing the rainbow style or any pride-themed attire you prefer. Get ready for a day of relaxation, bonding, and spreading love within the Nail Collective community.
5. Dress as Your Favorite Queer Icon (July 1st) - ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙
For the grand finale of Spirit Week, channel your inner LGBTQ+ icon or celebrity. Dress up as your favorite queer trailblazer, whether it's Lil Nas X, Miley Cyrus, Kehlani, Elton John, Freddie Mercury, or any other inspirational figure. This day celebrates the contributions and achievements of these individuals and their impact on the community.
Throughout Spirit Week, be prepared to have lots of content and pictures taken to capture the joyous moments and showcase our pride. The Nail Collective will also encourage our clients to participate, spreading the celebration beyond the salon.
